The Kingfisher Swimming Club is totally dependant upon volunteers. We require help with all manner of tasks and have over forty different volunteering opportunities. We require dedicated people who can offer an hour or two per week on a regular basis. There are opportunities available in the business and organisation aspects as well as fulfilling our poolside duties. In addition to the teaching, we require helpers with skills to organise gala events; including managing trophies; arranging transport and refreshments; IT; finance; secretarial or for the really dedicated a position as Trustee.
Many of our voluntary positions provide learning opportunites that are a major asset to those seeking employment. Employers look favourably upon people who demonstrate and attain their skills in the voluntary sector. For others, the opportunity to work with others in a pleasant and friendly environment is enough.
